I’ve always been interested in storytelling so whenever I want to make something I try to think of astory behind said project. I didn’t always think this way, however. In the beginning of my journey allmy projects were made in a way where I thought, “this looks cool,” but now I like to have meaning, astory, behind the things I make. These stories, though, aren’t straight forward, they have meaningbehind them. I enjoy hiding these stories in the background, making people take a longer look at myworks to understand the story and meaning behind each piece.

Things That Inspire Me

Anime

Anime has always been a big part of my life and seeing more and more amazing stories come out always has me in awe at the capabilities of some of these authors. Not only that, the composition of the scenes and the fluidity of the animation is jaw-dropping. As I continue to watch anime I'm always on the look out for more inspiration.

Manga

It's fascinating to see the way panels have to be composed in order to tell a compelling and understandable story. Trying to find little secrets in the backgrounds of panels and easter eggs in the volume covers is exciting. The composition of these volume covers is also interesting as authors have to create visually stunning pieces that need to capture the eyes of viewers to get them to buy them.

Video Games

Some of my earliest memories involve playing video games. The older I get the less I have time to play, but when I do get have the time I like to play games that have compelling stories. Stories that get me thinking about the deeper meanings that are hidden in the backgrounds of details.
