Rebranding Doctors For American into a friendlier and more easily understood branding.

Logo

When first looking at the Doctors for America logo one would be a bit confused. It uses dark colors when portraying an organization that is trying to make a change for a brighter future. The EKG on the colored background doesn’t ring at first, but it is supposed to look like a vague map of the US. In order to convey the brighter nature of the organization, the new logo uses brighter color, but keeps using a variation of blue and red to continue representing the United States. The idea of health is conveyed through an EKG creating a cross.

Sub Brands

The subrands, similarly to the main logo, takes advantage of the EKG lines and builds identifiable iconography that anyone would be able to read. Each one takes a symbol from one of the brands words to convey the meaning of the sub-brands.

Font

To give a more clean and sturdy look, the brand usesUniverse for the type. Everything is easy to read sonothing can be misinterpreted through the letter forms.
